I went out with Elliott on his assignments yesterday, to “job shadow” him. It still amazes me we get payed to do stuff I would do for free anyways.

Just Because

I was talking to a friend the other day about feeling burnt out, about feeling like all  your pictures suck, and about needing mental vacations.  Its ok to take mental vacations, to just take pictures sometimes , Just because you like them.  And thats what this is, my  siesta, my mental vacation, my photos I’m posting just because its my blog, and if i want to post pictures just because I like them, I can.

Out of Date Fire

The last week that I spent in Memphis I shot a fire for a couple hours that I hadn’t had the time to post until now. An old factory caught fire, and wouldn’t go out, as hot spots kept popping up in new areas.

Way Away

I was feeling a little out of it after leaving Memphis, out of place and not so sure where home was. And then I landed in Salt Lake City, took a 4 hour small van shuttle through vast expanses of land, and found whatever was missing somewhere along the way. Its beautiful here in Idaho Falls, and I might superglue my feet down when its time to leave.

Exactly where I thought I’d find him in Idaho.
