I almost peed in my pants I was so excited when the story idea was first pitched to ride along with the helicopter ambulance at UK Hospital. Shooting this story was one of the most incredibly fun things I’ve done in my life. I learned to appreciate adrenaline, downtime, clear mindedness under pressure, and the beauty of WWF wrestling. The down time I spent waiting for stuff to happen and calls to come in definitly built my character and taught me more patience than I ever thought possible.

I definitly planto continue to shoot this story.

Girls with Sticks

I actually got to tear myself away from kykernel.com and from lugging around 50 pound tripods today, and shoot pictures. The Lacrosse team is having tryouts this week and I actually got to assign someoneELSE to do the video. Man it feels like I’m actually an editor now. And it felt awesome to have my still cameras in hand again.

Fire on Elm Street

I didn’t run fast enough and the flames were already out by the time I got to apartment fire on Elm Street; but I stuck around for awhile and shot anyways. No one was injured and they think it was started by an unattended candle.
