Seeing

So over the course of my past two months being MIA, I’ve still been shooting, just not really updating my blog. I’ve been working, and finishing (cross- your- fingers) my horse farm story, and shooting other random things.

An ice storm came again, that was pretty cool. A britney storm came, and that was very un-cool. Everyone always said burnout can happen to anyone. I always laughed.
But they were right.
And there is no magical remedy to make it go away. You can’t make yourself want to do something. But somewhere in the snow capped hills of Carlisle Kentucky, on the back of a rickety red tractor, I fell in love with it all over again. I have been given a gift; we all have. A beautiful gift and excuse that not many people in this world can lay serious claim to.
I have the golden ticket to any world I wish to travel. I have the power to change someone’s view with a single image. I have been blessed with the opportunity to see. And gratitude for that is something we must never misplace.
