Hooray for Hamburgers

So unbeknowest to me, not only can Western New York boast that they created the Buffalo Wings, but they also lay claim to the original creation of Americas best friend, the Hamburger. The guy above was bouncing up and down on stilts proclaming the message of the birthday of the wonderous buns full of juicy deliciousness that the guy below is enjoying.

Warped Tour

So I finally experienced my first Warped Tour last Thursday. It was pretty fun/ pretty interesting. I met my favorite band, got pounced on by the crowd surfing lead singer of Bad Religion, saw more mowhawks than i could count, and spent a good 2 1/2 hours sittin in my car fightin with the internet to send in photos.

Gentlemen… start your engines…..

My father’s day was spent with grown men playing race cars on lawn movers. It was really funny because everyone would get all hyped up before the flag dropped and then they would start racing at 15 mph. I swear it was like watching grass blades racing to grow.

This lucky guy ran out of gas in the final heat, so he pushed his granddaughter and his lawn mower across the finish line.
Tight.

Sometime within the last few weeks the creative half of my brain sprouted legs and ran full force into a brick wall and went “SPLAT!” A good friend of mine suggested I take off the 16-35 and see what I could do, and he was right. I just SEE things wide. Thats how I see pictures. So at my assignment yesterday I grabbed my 70-200 and started chipping away at the wall separating me from creativity. I think I’m getting closer.
